Mich took Joan Rivers' death pretty hard; she had been a fan of the comedienne when she was a little girl and rekindled her love for Rivers through Fashion Police over the past couple years. I don't think you can overstate the importance of Rovers' career, or how she continued to blast open doors and forge new territory even up until the very end, and she was always fearless and irreverent.
Just how cool was Rivers? She was so fucking cool she had Hüsker Dü as guests on her talk show in 1987. How about that?
