A master class in cut-out animation from Terry Gilliam.
Terry Gilliam's cut-out animation for Monty Python were often highlights of quirky, absurdist humor, marked by his distinct visual style and the simple yet elegant style of filming different layers of paper in stop-motion. In the vintage video above, he explains how he creates the cut-outs and give a step-by-step demonstration on how to shoot the animated final product. Fascinating!
Also, that is some amazing hair he's sporting. The dude actually looks good with bangs!
